HELLO!
I had the amazing oppurtunity to collaborate with Alexa Zurcher of Alexa Z Design (her adorable print shop)!

I got to take her family photos last fall and she has the cutest family and is honesty on of the sweetest people I know! I was thrilled when she was down to collab! I got the cutest goodies in the mail just a few days later and started scheming up ideas in my head of how I was going to take the pictures!

It loved taking pictures of her prints, it was something different than I usually do but SO MUCH FUN!

LIFE LATELY

hiiii friends!!

I'm over here loving summer + I just wanted to share a few current/recent happenings in my life that have made me HAPPY! I love having this blog + am so happy I've been posting on it lots more!

I turn 16 in 22 DAYS!!!

I am SO HAPPY! I'm one of the youngest in my grade so I haven't been able to drive while all my friends have! I'm finishing up drivers ed and will get to drive with the instructor after that is done then I can FINALLY get my license! I couldn't be happier!!!

(And, I currently have an obsession with swig - - - uh-oh this can't be good)

I need to try and not spend my money going out with friends... ughh it is a serious problem! Hahaha but I went with my friend Tique to Pizzeria Limone - thee cutest pizza place and their pizza is delicious! I've heard the pepperoni one is so good and am itching to go + try it!

I SHOT MY VERY FIRST WEDDING (RECEPTION) !!!!!!!!!

Although I just shot the reception this was HUGE for me and I couldn't be more happy that someone trusted me with the photos of their special day! And I got to work along side with my favorite Videographer! The reception was the cutest I have ever been to - they had a CEREAL BAR! How cute it that?! And a donut wall!!! Then to top it all off --- the best dance party + all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen JUMPED IN THE POOL at the end!! Needless to say it was SUCH A GOOD NIGHT!  I loved it so much and I CANNOT wait to hopefully get more opportunities to shoot weddings in the future!

CURRENT FAVORITES + LINKS

I'm excited to start sharing a few of my current favorite things here each week!

I have been writing on my blog a lot more often than I used to and I LOVE IT! I love writing and sharing the things I love and am passionate about and especially pairing that with pictures - - - THEE BEST in my opinion! • I scored these cute slide/mule sandals + they are to die for! I got both colors --- the black is my favorite!
• I got some super cute, SUPER CHEAP frames from the Dollar Tree and spray painted them to the color I wanted and they definitely don't look like they were $1?!! I love them - run to your nearest Dollar Tree and check them out now!
• I'm loving this swim top and want it so bad! I have two Nani tops and they are the best quality!
• Since I've practically spent every day at the pool so far this summer my Kortni Jeane bottoms are my favorites! Best quality + so many cute patterns and styles to choose from!
• Loving this shirt I got recently - a summer staple for sure and so cheap (especially if you score it on sale)!
• Wearing this necklace everrry day --- I love how much it adds to any outfit!
• Thinking about giving this book a read this summer! I've heard good things about it, have you read it?! If so, what did you think? Let me know!
• How freaking awesome are Thread Wallets! If you don't have one you NEED one! I love mine!
• Eyeing this braclet from Made by Mary! I want all the things from her shop!
• I read The Magnolia Story recently and holy crap --- BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ?!!! If you haven't read it you need to!
• Maskcara makeup! Ever heard of it?! (if you live in Utah I'm sure you have!) My aunt is an artist and I love it so much! If you're looking into it you have to go through an artist, better yet my aunt;) Contact me and I'll give you her info!

The Barlow Family

I recently gave away three mini photo sessions of the winners choice on my instagram and this cute family was one of the winners and chose a family session! The orchard was gorgeous and their colors were perfect! Enjoy a few peaks at this session!

I had so much fun with The Barlows! I LOVE family sessions so dang much - - - the colors and weather are perfect for photos right now so let's shoot before it gets too hot!!

SISTERS♡

Holy crap.

I never knew you could love someone so dang much.

My Kamryn Jo is so special to me and I do not know what I ever did without her.

I love my brothers and my parents so much, don't get me wrong but I feel that nothing can top the relationship I have with my favorite girl.

We are 13 years apart but she is my very best friend and I have no clue where in the world I'd be without my girl.

Here's a few pictures that got me to write a lil' appreciation post for my favorite girl because I never want to forget all the crazy + cute things this girl does

Grace Call

I got to take Grace's senior photos and I LOVE how they turned out! It was so much fun taking her pictures, we just talked about everything the whole time and Grace would have to stop and smile in the middle of our conversations for pictures then we'd keep on talking once we got them, haha!

I absolutley love photography and all the people I get to meet from it! Grace and I have known eachother for a while but never really had a real conversation or hung out so I love how taking pictures gets me to meet so many amazing people, hang out with them and have a good time!

^We stopped in front of someones house for these ones because we could not pass up those flowers!! SO PRETTY!

Grace is GORGEOUS and the sweetest person you will ever meet! I had SO much fun taking these!

BACK FOR GOOD + LIFE LATELY

Hello! It's been a bit but I'm back!

I decided to dust off the good 'ole blog and start documenting my life a little more here on my corner of the internet. I hope not to take another long break, I really love writing and taking pictures and this is the perfect combination of the two --- I love it so much!

Heres a few little updates from my time off... (whoops!)

My friend Preslee Gates took these amazing sister pictures of me and my favorite girl! These are something I know I will cherish forever! This stage of life I'm in now is one of the greatest!

This is something I've been needing to hear and have refered back to many times lately.

As of lately I feel like I've compared myself to others all to often and it sucks. Why do we feel like we need to be like someone else and if we aren't "as good as them" or "don't have what they have" we aren't good enough?? I confuses me but it is SO REAL.

As I've seen others around me get experiences or opportunities I wish I had, I've had to take a step back and remember "SUPPORTING ANOTHER'S SUCCESS WON'T EVER DAMPEN YOURS."

I've decided to just try and be happy for those people, (although it may be hard) if we can just be happy for those people and the opportunities they get, our turn will come!! 

Here's another major highlight from the past little bit! Haha for my crazy, over-passionate-for-other's-buisnesses self this was the BOMB.com!

Mary of Made by Mary was giving away a few free necklaces at a park just down the road from my house! She posted on her story and I saw just after 4 minutes or so and luckily my aunt Kelli, who's almost as obsessed with MBM as me, was at my house so we jumped in the car and booked it to the park! I was RUNNING to get the necklace hahaha it was disneyland to me! Mary was so kind and it was so fun meeting her! 

Here's the necklace I scored! I was stoked to add another necklace to my collection, I LOVE this one! Check out their shop, I seriously have to keep myself from wanting to buy every. dang. necklace from there!

Man, this girl keeps life crazy fun! My mom was telling her how much she loved her the other day and her respose was, "No, sissy does!" Hahaha I died when my mom told me this, at least she knows how much we love her!

Jo and I went on a little trip to see our cousin go off to her JR. PROM! It was her first time away from my mom and after a little meltdown going to sleep she was great and didn't want to come home!

Gosh, I love these cousins SO DANG MUCH!

I'm so thankful for cousins that double as best friends!

She's the greatest!!

And you can always count of me and Lou to wear SANDALS in the SNOW! Hahaha what's new?!
